Hello! I am Kristen McPherson.

Communicator. Creative Strategist. Event and Brand Marketer.

I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in corporate communication and a focus in marketing, design and strategic communication. My passion lies in creating meaningful experiences through storytelling, event execution and community driven marketing.

Currently working in marketing and communications for the American Quarter Horse Association, I specialize in communications that connect people to brands, programs and experiences. From managing event campaigns and social media strategy to coordinating press releases, digital content and onsite event communications, I enjoy bringing structure and creativity together in ways that feel authentic and impactful.

As a former Division I athlete on the Baylor Equestrian Team, I learned the value of discipline, collaboration and adaptability, skills that continue to shape my professional approach. Combined with experience in local marketing through multiple State Farm offices, I have developed a strong understanding of how to connect with audiences both online and in person.

I am especially passionate about branding, event experiences, western industry marketing and creating communication strategies that feel approachable, engaging and intentional.
